New Delhi (22.06.2021): Consequent upon the retirement of Justice Sanjay Yadav (Chief Justice, Allahabad HC) the President of India on Tuesday appointed Justice Munishwar Nath Bhandari to perform the duties of the office of the Chief Justice of Allahabad HC w.e.f. 26.06.2021. Justice Bhandari is the senior-most Judge of the Allahabad High Court (HC).
New Delhi (22.06.2021): The NaMo administration on Monday extended the tenure of Alok Shukla (IRS C&CE:1988) as Minister (Customs), Permanent Mission of India (PMI) to the World Trade Organization (WTO) for a period of six months beyond 17.06.2021 or till the successor joins the Mission.
New Delhi (22.06.2021): Dharam Pal (IAS:1988:AGMUT) has been appointed as the new adviser to the administrator of the Union Territory of Chandigarh. The order was issued by the home ministry and he would join the office on June 23.
Dharam Pal will Manoj Parida (IAS:1987:UT), who was transferred to Delhi on June 17, six months before the completion of his three-year tenure. Parida will take over as the chairman of the National Authority of Chemical Weapons Convention.
New Delhi (18.06.2021): S K Chaudhary was on Friday empanelled for holding Inspector General (General Duty) rank post in ITBPF for the panel year 2020. Presently, he is working as Deputy Inspector General (General Duty), Indo Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF).
New Delhi (18.06.2021): Shambhoo Nath (IRS C&CE:1991) was on Friday empanelled for promotion to the grade of Principal Commissioner of Customs and Indirect Taxes in the Indian Revenue Service (Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs) for the panel for the year 2020.
New Delhi (18.06.2021): Mrs Chandan Mishra Dwivedi (ICAS) was on Friday empanelled for promotion to the Senior Administrative Grade (Joint Controller General/Chief Controller of Accounts) of the Indian Civil Accounts Service (lCAS) for the panel year 2020.
New Delhi (18.06.2021): Rajeev Kumar (IPS:1992:TN) was on Friday appointed as Inspector General in Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) on a deputation basis for an initial tenure of five years.
