BJP wants to end drought in Kerala

Kerala news

Assembly elections in Kerala are due next year but alternatively the LDF and the UDF had been the government in the state. The ruling party at the Centre – the BJP — was unable to make even a mark in the state but for the forthcoming elections, the party is looking for an alliance with the newly formed political party NNDP of the Ejhawa community to better its political prospects in the state. The matter was so important that national BJP president Amit Shah had come back to meet its leader in Delhi in the middle of a pre-scheduled poll campaign in Bihar. Shah met Ejhawa leader Vellapalli Nateshan and reportedly discussed future strategy about Kerala elections.
