The Railways will carry out feasibility studies for establishing six more bullet train corridors under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.
These are 886 KM Delhi-Jaipur-Udaipur-Ahmedabad route, the 865 KM Delhi – Noida – Agra – Kanpur – Lucknow – Varanasi route, the 753 KM Mumbai – Nasik – Nagpur, the Mumbai – Pune – Hyderabad route will be 711 KM long, the Chennai – Bangalore – Mysore will be 435 KM long, and the Delhi – Chandigarh – Ludhiana – Jalandhar – Amritsar will be 459 KM long.
India’s first bullet train project covering a distance of 508 KM between Ahmedabad and Mumbai is being executed by National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) in collaboration with Japanese companies.
