If some well-placed sources are to be believed the Ashok Gehlot Government may give an extension (in tenure) to Rajeev Swarup (IAS:1985:RJ), the outgoing Chief Secretary of Rajasthan retiring next month. He was appointed as CS vice Devendra Bhushan Bhushan Gupta (IAS:1983:RJ) on 03 July 2020; four months ahead of his superannuation.
