Pipersenia to succeed Khosla as new Chief Secretary of Assam

If some well placed sources are to be believed Vinod Kumar Pipersenia (IAS:1980:AM) is all set to be appointed as Chief Secretary to the Government of Assam. Jitesh Khosla (IAS:1979:AM), the incumbent CS, is scheduled to retire on May 31. After retirement Khosla is being taken on board by Tarun Gogoi (CM, Assam) as his advisor as post retirement assignment.

Pipersenia is presently serving in the state as Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture, Panchayat & Rural Dev, Irrigation and PWD (R ) & PWD (B & NH) Departments. He is also holding other charges namely; Agriculture Production Commissioner and PRC of Assam Bhawan (New Delhi).
