Rajasthan CS advices bureaucrats to avoid donning politicians’ rob

The Rajasthan government reminds bureaucrats to follow rulebook on the matters of inaugurating any new building, road or any new project and also refrain from wearing turbans and garland on official functions. A circular issued by chief secretary C S Rajan (IAS:1978:JH) clearly says that bureaucrats must avoid such things. One more thing that is mentioned in the circular is that they must also avoid mentioning their names on plates at the inaugural site. It is reported that political class were having objections over it and also they had objected bureaucrats announcing development projects that is not feasible, this has also been taken care of in the circular of chief secretary.
