The guessing game over India’s next Ambassador to the US seems over now. Reportedly, Navtej Sarna (IFS:1980) may succeed Arun Singh, the outgoing India’s Ambassador to the US. Singh is scheduled to retire on August 31, 2016.

Navtej Sarna currently serves as Indian High Commissioner to the UK. He had a wide experience in handling the external publicity as the longest-serving (Yr 2002 to 2008) spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs.
