• New Delhi (17.01.2022): Notification issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) on Monday;

    • Madnesh Kumar Mishra (IRS IT:1990) was prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre on grounds of availing promotion in the cadre. Currently, he is Joint Secretary, Ministry of Culture.  
    • Two Part-Time Members were appointed in the National Monuments Authority (NMA) for a period of three years; Hemraj Ramniklal Kamdar, Proprietor, M/s Earth Consortium (Ahmedabad) & Prof (Dr) M Kailasa Rao, Professor & Dean, School of Planning & Architecture (Vijaywada)

  • New Delhi (14.01.2022): Notifications issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) on Friday.

    • Two Deputy Secretary level officers were re-designated as Director namely; Anil Kumar (IRS IT:2008) in the Ministry of Textiles; Gaurav Hariom Gupta (IDSE:2004) in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways; Ms. Rohini R. Bhajibhakare (IAS:2008:TN), Private Secretary to Annpurna Devi, Union Minister of State for Education;  Ms. Jayanthi Angayarkanni G D (IRSlT:2008), DOPT.
    • Sidhil Sasi (ISS:2001), Director in the Department of Investment & Public Asset Management (DIPAM), was repatriated to his parent cadre to avail the benefit of promotion. He will be relieved on completion tenure on 26.01.2022.

  • New Delhi (13.01.2022): Notifications issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) on Thursday are as follows:-

    1. The tenure of the foreign deputation of Ms Smita Sirohi was extended for a period of six months beyond 10.01.2022 (i.e. upto 10.07.2022). She is working as an Adviser (Agriculture & Marine Products), under the Ministry of Commerce, at the Embassy of India, BrusselsIt may be underlined that prior to her foreign assignment she worked as Principal Scientist, ICAR-NDRI (Karnal).
    2. Ms. Richa Gupta (IDAS:2010) was appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Textiles for a period of four years
    3. Two officers working as Deputy Secretary were re-designated as Director namely Ranjit Kumar (lAS:2008:MH), Department of Personnel & Training and Devesh Gupta (IRS C&CE:2008), Department of Commerce.
    4. The tenure of the additional charge of the post of Development Commissioner. Kandla Special Economic Zone to Akash Taneja (ITS:1990) was extended for a period of six months beyond 24.11.2021 or till the post is filled on regular basis. Presently, Taneja is Additional Director General in the Directorate General of Foreign Trade.
    5. Rajan Sehgal (IFS:1992:KL) was selected by PESB for the post of Managing Director, National Backward Classes Finance and Development Corporation (NBCFDC).

  • New Delhi (12.01.2022): Notifications issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) on Wednesday are as follows:-
    1. S Somanath was appointed to the post of Secretary, Department of Space and Chairman, Space Commission for a combined tenure of three years inclusive of an extension in tenure beyond the age of superannuation. Presently, he is working as Director, Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC).
    2. Kamal Kumar Agarwal (ITS:1997), Director, Election Commission of India, was prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre on personal grounds with extended cooling off.
    3. Dheeraj Bhatnagar (IRS IT:1988), Additional Secretary, Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM), was prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre to avail the benefit of promotion in the cadre.
    4. Vineet Singhal (IRSME:2002) was appointed as Director in the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities for a period of five years.
    5.  Three IAS officers working as Deputy Secretary were re-designated as Director;
    • Kumar Ravikant Singh (IAS:2008:UP) presently PS to Pankaj Chaudhary, Union MoS for Finance 
    • Dr Ashima Jain (IAS:2008:BH) presently working as PS to Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti Union MoS for Rural Development.

    • Jogiranjan Panigrahi (IRS C&CE:1990) was prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre on personal grounds with the imposition of the extended cooling-off condition. Presently, he is Joint Secretary, Ministry of Textiles
    • Koottil Variam Ajith (Indian Supply Service:2009) was appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Defence for a period of four years. 
    • A K Digambar Fulzele (IPS:2001:HP) was appointed as Inspector General in Border Security Force (BSF) for a period of 05 years.

    • C I Acharya (CGM, Mangalore Refineries & Petrochemicals Ltd) was selected for the post of Director (Finance), Shipping Corporation of India (SCI)
    • Dr Krushna Chandra Sahoo (GM, RINL) was selected for the post of Director (Commercial), National Seeds Corporation (NSC).
    • Yogendra Prasad Shukla (DGM, NTPC) was selected for the post of Director (Finance), Hindustan Organic Chemicals Limited (HOCL).

    • Tenure of the additional charge of the post of Managing Director, National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd (NHIDCL) to  Mahmood Ahmed (IP&TA&FS:1993), Joint Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, was extended for a period of three months beyond 31.12.2021 i.e. up to 31.03.2022 or till the appointment of a regular incumbent.
    • Prem Chand Maurya (IDSE:2001) was appointed as Finance & Accounts Officer in the Central Ground Water Board under the Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation for a period of five years. 
    • Dheeraj Joshi (lRSE:2011) was appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation for a period of four years.
    • The Central deputation tenure of Vipul Bansal (lAS:2005:KN), Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce, was extended for a period of two years beyond 18.01.2022. 
    • Saket Kumar Singh (IPS:2002:JH) was appointed (in-situ) to the post of IG, CRPF. Currently, he is working as DIG, CRPF.
    • Deepak Kumar Kedia (IPS:1999:AM) was appointed as Inspector General,  National Security Guard (NSG for a period of five years.
    • Mrs Anisa Husain (IPS:2001:TN) and Mrs Aparna Kumar (IPS:2002:UP) were appointed (in-situ) as IG in ITBP. Presently, they are working as DIG in ITBP.
