New Delhi (21.09.2021): With the appointment of Baby Rani Maurya as National Vice President of Bharatiya Janata Party by national president Jagat Prakash Nadda, now it is now clear that her resignation from Uttarakhand Governor happened to take her services in Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. The community that she belongs to is very strong in Uttar Pradesh among OBCs, so the strategy is to counter Yadav vote bank. Anupriya Patel has already been inducted in the government to cover the community in the entire UP. Maurya might be fielded for the Assembly election and in case the BJP comes to power, she may be even made deputy CM. The BJP also appointed Dr Sukanta Majumdar as state president of West Bengal replacing Dilip Ghosh. The outgoing state president of West Bengal Dilip Ghosh has been appointed as National Vice President of the party.
