Gandhinagar (11.01.2022): The Gujarat government has promoted 2006-batch officers to the rank of secretary and effected their transfers. These officers included:
- Ajay Kumar (IAS: 2006: GJ) private secretary to the Union education minister, has been given a pro forma promotion.
- Jenu Devan (IAS: 2006: GJ) has been promoted and transferred as the superintendent of stamps. He will hold the additional charge of commissioner, labour & employment.
- Alok Pandey (IAS: 2006: GJ) has been posted as MD, TCGL.
- Ravi Arora (IAS: 2006: GJ) has been given a pro forma promotion.
- R B Barad (IAS: 2006: GJ) has been promoted and transferred as the chairman of Gujarat Pollution Control Board. M D Modia (IAS: 2006: GJ), the officer on special duty to the CM, has been promoted and will retain the same post.
- D G Patel (IAS: 2006: GJ) has been appointed as the commissioner of cooperation and the registrar of cooperative societies.
- D P Desai (IAS: 2006: GJ) has been appointed CEO of Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority.
- A B Gor (IAS: 2006: GJ) has been appointed as Vadodara collector.
