New Delhi (09.04.2021): The Government of Haryana effected a bureaucratic reshuffle that included the transfer of Deputy Commissioner of three districts. In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 243K of the Constitution of India the Governor of Haryana on Thursday appointed Dhanpat Singh (Retd IAS) as State Election Commissioner, Haryana. Further, the Governor of Haryana reinstated Ashok Kumar (IPS:2006:HY) in service and posted him as Deputy Inspector General of Police, State Vigilance Bureau (Ambala) Haryana. It may be underlined that Ashok Kumar was suspended in February after the registration of an FIR against him following a spat with state’s Home Minister Anil Vij’s brother. In addition, four IAS officers were reshuffled. The list of officers transferred and posted goes as follows;
