Haryana: Search Committee for Chief Commissioner, Right to Service Commission

1270The Governor of Haryana, on Tuesday, September 22, issued an order to constitute a committee to search suitable candidates for appointment as Chief Commissioner in the Haryana Right to Service Commission under Haryana Right to Service Act, 2014. The Search Committee would make a recommendation to the Statutory Committee for the appointment of the new Chief Commissioner pertaining to the Haryana Right to Service Commission. The Search Committee would comprise Vijai Vardhan (IAS:1985:HY), Additional Chief Secretary to Government of Haryana, as the Chairman. T.V.S.N. Prasad (IAS:1988:HY), Additional Chief Secretary to Government of Haryana, and Dr. B.K. Kuthiala, Chairperson, Haryana State Higher Education Council, will be the other constituting members. The Committee has the prerogative to forward names based on their own merits. The Government will finalize a panel of names, after considering the names submitted by the Search Committee for consideration of the Statutory Committee.
