New Delhi (12.10.2021): Notifications issued by the
Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) on Tuesday are as follows:-
- Amit Khare (Retd lAS: 1985: JH) was on Tuesday appointed as
Advisor to the Prime Minister in Prime Minister's Office initially for a period
of two years on a contract basis.
- Hoshiar Singh (ITS: 1994) was on Tuesday prematurely
repatriated to parent cadre i.e. Department of Telecommunications. Presently,
he is Registrar, Copyright Office under the Department of Promotion of Industry
and Internal Trade (DPIIT).
Ritesh Chauhan (IAS:2005:HP) was appointed as CEO, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) and Joint Secretary, Agriculture under the Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, for a combined tenure of seven years ending 22.09.2023. He replaces Ashish Kumar Bhutani (IAS:1992:AM)
- Vipul Bansal (IAS:2005:KN) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce, for an overall tenure of five years up to 18.01.2022. Bansal replaces Keshav Chandra (IAS:1995:UT). Bansal’s tenure may further be extended for two additional years on the availability of cadre clearance from the State Government.
- Ms Uma Nanduri (IFS:1993:OR) was appointed as Joint Secretary, the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Secretariat under the Ministry of Culture, for a tenure of five years.
- Amitesh Kumar Sinha (IRAS:1997) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology for a combined tenure of seven years ending 09.10.2023. He replaces Gopala Krishnan S (IAS:1991:TN)
- Sameer Shukla (IAS:2005:KN) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Financial Services for an overall tenure of five years ending 21.02.2023. He replaces, Madnesh Kumar Mishra (IRS IT:1990). Shukla’s tenure in DFS may be extended for another two years subject to the cadre clearance.
- Ms Saumya Gupta (IAS:2004:TR) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Higher Education, for a tenure of five years.
- Ashish Kumar (IAS:2005:TN) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs, for an overall tenure of five years ending 27.08.2022. Ashish replaces PK Srivastava (IAS:1988:AM). His tenure may be further extended for another two years subject to cadre clearance from State Government.
- Harish Chandra Chaudhary (IFS:1992:AM) appointed as Joint Secretary, NHRC under the Ministry of Home Affairs for a tenure of five years vice R K Khandelwal (IAS:1989:BH)
- Kuldip Narayan (IAS:2005:BH) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs for an overall tenure of five years ending 20.08.2024 vice Amrit Abhijat (IAS:1995:UP)
- Ms Vandana Kumar (IDAS:1992) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of New & Renewable Energy for a combined tenure of seven years ending 21.07.2023 vice Amitesh Kumar Sinha (IRAS:1997).
- Pawan Kumar Sain (IAS:2005:UT) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Economic Advisory Council to Prime Minister, NITI Aayog, for a combined tenure of seven years ending 24.07.2022. He replaces Ms Sumita Misra (IAS:1990:HY).
- N Yuvaraj (IAS:2005:AP) appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Pharmaceuticals for a combined tenure ending 04.11.2023 vice Navdeep Rinwa (IAS:1999:UP)
- Ms Meera Mohanty (IAS:2005:HP) was appointed (in-situ) as Joint Secretary, Prime Minister's Office, for a combined tenure ending 01.05.2022 from the date of assumption of the charge of the post by temporarily upgrading the post of Director to JS level.
