Lt Gen Upendra Dwivedi appointed new Northern Army Commander

930New Delhi (25.01.2022): Lieutenant General Upendra Dwivedi has been appointed as the new Northern Army Commander. He is presently posted as the Deputy Chief of Army Staff and would be succeeding Lt Gen Y K Joshi in Udhampur, Jammu, and Kashmir. Lt Gen Upendra Dwivedi assumed the appointment of DCOAS (IS&C) at Integrated HQ of MOD (ARMY) on April 9, 2021.
