New Delhi (04.08.2021): To streamline the working of the ministry and look after the publicity in a better way, Information and Broadcasting minister Anurag Singh Thakur has enacted a new work allocation for Indian Information Services officers at headquarters immediately after taking over the ministry. They included:

1. Dhiraj Singh, ADG (IIS:1995) has been given the responsibility of President Secretariat, PMO, Cabinet Secretariat, Vice President Secretariat, NITI Ayog and MoSPI
2. Bharat Bhushan Babu, ADG (IIS: 1991) will be looking after Defence Ministry
3. Nitin Wakankar, DG (IIS:1989) has been given the responsibility of the Union Home Ministry; Ministry of Cooperation
4. Rajesh Malhotra, DG (IIS:1989) has been given the responsibility of Ministry of Finance; and Ministry of Corporate Affairs
5. Mattu J P Singh, ADG (IIS:) will look after the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, MSME, Ports, Shipping and Waterway; Ministry of Education; Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship
6. Ravi Rama Krishna, ADG (IIS:1991) has been given the responsibilities of Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change; Labour and Employment; Law and Justice
7. Saurabh Singh, DD (IIS:2012) will look after Ministry of Information and Broadcasting
8. Alpana P Sharma, ADG (IIS:1991) has been entrusted with the responsibility of Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare; Ministry of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj
9. Mamta Verma, ADG (IIS:1994) has been given the responsibility of MNRE, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying
10. Shamima Siddiqui, ADG (IIS:1995) will look after Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs; Ministry of Coal and Ministry of Mines
11. Manisha Verma, ADG, (IIS: 1994) has been made responsible for Ministry of Health and Family Welfare; Ministry do Chemical and Fertilizer; and Ministry of AYUSH
12. Nanu Bhasin, ADG (IIS: 1992) will look after Ministry of Tourism, Culture; Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports; Ministry of Tribal Affairs
13. Manish Gautam, Director (IIS: 2001) has been made in charge of Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment; DONER
14. Beena Yadav, ADG (IIS: 1997) will look after Ministry of Women and Child Development; Ministry of Jal Shakti
15. Yogesh Baweja, ADG (IIS: 1990) will look after Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs; Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas
16. Rajeev Jain, ADG (IIS: 1990) will take care of Ministry of Railways; Ministry of Communications, Electronics and IT; Ministry of Civil Aviation
17. D J Narian, ADG (IIS: 1990) will look after Ministry of Commerce and Industry; Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution
18. Sheyphali B Sharan, ADG (IIS: 1990) is responsible for matter related  to Election Commission of India
19. A O Nynzsang Lamba, ADG (IIS: 1993) is media in charge of Ministry of Minority Affairs
20. Shambhu Nath Chowdhury, Director (IIS: 1997), will look after Ministry of Science and Technology; Ministry of Earth Science; PPG and Pension (DoPT); Ministry of Atomic Science, Space; UPSC; Ministry of Food Processing Industry
21. Vasudha Gupta, DG (IIS: 1989), will be responsible for Administration, Coordination, Social Media and Fact check Unit
22. Kanchan Prasad, ADG (IIS: 1990) will take care of Administration Press Facility
