New Delhi (31.01.2025): Indianmandarins has reliably learned that shortlisting of candidates for selection of the next CMD is yet to begin. PESB floated the vacancy on October 21, 2024 vice Gurdeep Singh who is scheduled to retire on July 31, 2025. The last date for submission of applications was November 18, 2024.
Interestingly, a section of industry insiders says that Gurdeep Singh is the only CMD in the sector who could afford to decline the words of the administrative ministry in the larger interest of NTPC.
