Pilot likely to get important assignment; cabinet expansion on cards

The Congress wants to put to rest the long-drawn feud between Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot. Former state Congress chief Sachin Pilot met the organization secretary and they discussed a long-pending cabinet reshuffle in detail and also a future role for Pilot. This was followed by a meeting between Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Ashok Gehlot, and KC Venugopal. A cabinet reshuffle might take place next week and Pilot may be given an important role in the organization. This will send the message that the promise made by Gandhi's to make him chief minister at some point is fulfilled.
