New Delhi (17.12.2022): The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) on Saturday cleared the much awaited Board level appointments at Level 17 (Ex-officio Secretary to the Govt of India) and empanelment of six officers for holding Level 17 posts under IRMS. 
The list of newly appointed Members & DGs goes as follows:-
  1. Member/Infrastructure: Anil Kumar Lahoti (IRSE:1984), currently, GM Central Railway.
  2. Member Traction & Rolling Stock: Naveen Gulati (IRSEE:1986), currently GM, Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai
  3. DG (Safety): Braj Mohan Agarwal (IRSME:1986), currently, GM, Modern Coach Factory, Rae Bareli
  4. DG (HR): Mohit Sinha (IRAS:1986), currently, Additional Member (Revenue), RB
The list of officers empaneled for holding Level 17 posts under IRMS goes as follows:-
  1. Anil K Lahoti (IRMS:1984), (DoR: 31.08.2023)
  2. Roop N Sunkar (IRSE:1985), currently, GM, East Coast Railway, Bhubaneswar (DoR: 31.12.2023)
  3. Mohit Sinha (IRAS:1986), (DoR: 30.11.2023)
  4. Satish Kumar (IRSME:1986), currently, GM, North Central Railway, Prayagraj (DoR: 30.09.2025)
  5. Braj Mohan Agarwal (IRSME:1986), (DoR: 30.04.2026)
It may be underlined that two officers Ms Anjali Goyal (IRAS:1985) and Ms Jaya Varma Sinha (IRTS:1986) appear to have paid price for the late filing of Annual Immovable Property Return (AIPR) and denial of vigilance clearance resulting in the deferment of inclusion in the panel of Level 17.  Currently, Ms Goyal is working as GM of Banaras Rail locomotive factory whereas Ms Jaya Varma Sinha is working as an Additional Member (Traffic), Railway Board.  
Further, 81 officers were denied empanelment for holding Level 17 posts in Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS).
