New Delhi (16.10.2024): The Andhra Pradesh government has forwarded names of Inspector General of Police (IG) Sarvsrestha Tripathi (IPS: 2006: AP) and DIG Gopinath Jetti (IPS: 2008: AP) for the Special Investigation Team (SIT) that would be constituted as per the Supreme Court order to probe adulteration in TTD laddu prasadam. The SC ordered SIT prob with officers including two from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), two from Andhra Pradesh Police and one from Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI).
