New Delhi (05.09.2021): Poll bugle is blown in Uttar Pradesh for 2022 Assembly elections albeit unofficially and habitual turncoats have started switching sides but Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (Lohia) the breakaway group of the Samajwadi Party entered into an undeclared alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party. Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath has already spoken to Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party chief Shiv Pal Singh Yadav. Apparently, the party will act the way it benefits the BJP and put up candidates in such constituencies where harming the SP candidates will be necessary. Maybe Akhilesh Yadav is the National president of the Samajwadi Party but Shivpal still has command over Yadav and the Muslim cadre of the party which can damage the prospects of the SP in the state.
