• The Centre, on request of Govt of Manipur, repatriated Prashant Kumar Singh (IAS: 1993: MN) to the Cadre. Currently, he is Secretary, Ministry of New & Renewable Energy. He will succeed Vineet Joshi (IAS: 1992: MN) as new Chief Secretary of the state.
• Ritu Ranjan Mittar was appointed as Whole-Time Member in the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) for a tenure of three years, or till the age of 65 years. He is is former Head & Advisor, Telecommunication Engineering Centre.
• Maruthi Prasad Tangirala (IP&TAFS: 1990) was appointed as Whole-Time Member in the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) for a tenure of three years, or till the age of 65 years. He is Additional Secretary, Department of Financial Services.

Chawla has been appointed as Secretary, Department of Investment and Public Asset Management, Ministry of Finance.  He will also hold additional charge of secretary, Department of Public Enterprises, Ministry of Finance and Secretary, Ministry of Culture till the appointment of a regular incumbent.
• Post of Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways held by Aminkhan Yasinkhan Shaikh (IRS C&IT: 2011) has been re-designated as Director for a period up to 25.11.2029 i.e. a total tenure of five years. His central deputation tenure is w.e.f. 26.11.2024.
• Post of Joint Development Commissioner (Deputy Secretary level) in the office of Development Commissioner for Handlooms under the Ministry of Textiles held by Nipun Pande (IRSEE: 2011) has been re-designated as Joint Development Commissioner (Director level) for a period up to 12.11.2028 i.e. total tenure of five years.
