  • New Delhi (30.10.2024): Notifications of appointments and recommendations issued on Wednesday are as follows:

    • Tenure of Siddharth Mahajan (IAS: 2003: RJ), Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce, has been extended for a combined tenure of seven years up to 07.11.2028.
    • Kiran Reddy T (IRS C&IT: 2009) has been appointed as Director in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Delhi for a period of five years.
    • Manoj Bihari Verma (YOA: 2009), presently Counsellor, High Commission of India, Dar-es-Salaam, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Liberia.

    • Tenure of Abhishek Singh (IAS: 1995: NL), Additional Secretary, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, has been extended beyond 03.12.2024 for a period up to 20.06.2026.
    • Deepak Virmani (IAS: 2011: AGMUT) has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Delhi for a period of four years. 
    • Kriti Garg (IAS: 2013: AGMUT) has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Delhi for a period of four years. 
    • Govind Kumar Garg (IRS C&IT:2009) has been appointed as Director in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Delhi for a period of five years. 

    • Cadre of Mahadik Akshay Sanjay (IPS: 2022:AM) has been changed from Assam-Meghalaya to Uttar Pradesh on ground of his marriage with Chandni Singh (IFoS: 2022: UP). 

    • Cadre of Lakshay Sharma (IPS: 2016: MA) has been changed from Manipur to Chhattisgarh on grounds of his marriage with Suruchi Singh (IAS: 2020: CH).

    • Harsh Kumar Jain (IFS:1993) has been concurrently accredited as the Ambassador of India to the Federated States of Micronesia, with residence in Manila.

    • Vipin Kumar (IAS: 1996: BH), Chairman, Airports Authority of India, Ministry of Civil Aviation in the rank & pay of Additional Secretary, has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Department of School Education & Literacy.

    38. Kritika Kulhari (IAS: 2013: HP) has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation, Delhi for a period of four years.

    40. Deputation tenure of Sajjan Singh Yadav (IAS: 1995: AGMUT), Additional Secretary, Department of Expenditure, has been extended beyond 05.12.2024 for a period up to 19.08.2026. The post held by him has been temporary upgradation from Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary for a period of one year beyond 05.12.2024 i.e. up to 05.12.2025.
    41. Punya Salila Srivastava (IAS: 1993: UT), Secretary, Department of Health and Family Welfare, has been entrusted with additional charge of the post of Secretary, Department of Health Research from 26.10.2024 to 03.11.2024 during the period of absence on leave of Dr Rajiv Bahl.
