Joshi’s (IAS:92) exit from DDC makes bureaucrats curious!

Ashish Joshi (1992 IAS officer)

Ashish Joshi (1992 IAS officer)A mysterious exit of Ashish Joshi (IAS:1992:UT) from the crucially important post of the Delhi Dialogue Commission (DDC) has made many bureaucrats guessing about the reason and manner in which he was removed.

Reportedly, Joshi, Member-Secretary (DDC), was asked verbally by AAP leader Ashish Khetan (Vice- Chairperson, DDC) to quit the post. Sources said that Joshi was instructed to issue orders for the appointment of six AAP volunteers as coordinators of different task forces formed under the DDC which did not fall into the provisions and rules as many other candidates had already applied for the post.

The DDC was constituted in the last week of February to advice the Delhi government on various policies and outline the road-map for governance.
