New Delhi (15.03.2024): Notifications of appointments and recommendations issued on Friday are as follows:
  • Angshuman Dey (IFoS: 1997: TR), Joint Secretary, Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region, was entrusted with additional charge of the post of Secretary, North Eastern Council Secretariat w.e.f. 17.02.2024.
  • Sugata Ghosh Dastidar (IDAS: 1987), Controller General of Defence Accounts, was appointed as Financial Adviser (Defence Services) in the Ministry of Defence upon completion of term of contract of Rasika Chaube (IDAS: 1986) on 31.03.2024.
  • Additional charge of the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), National Rainfed Area Authority (NRAA) to Faiz Ahmed Kidwai (IAS: 1996: MP), Additional Secretary, Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, was extended for a period of one year.
  • Tenure of Aravind Kumar Agrawal (CWES: 1997), Director, Mio Environment Forest and Climate Change, was extended for a period of one year up to 28.02.2025. He counts his central deputation w.e.f. 01.03.2019.
  • Tenure of Mahander Singh Yadav (ITS: 1997), Director in the Central Vigilance Commission was extended for a period of two years up to 26.05.2026. He counts his central deputation w.e.f. 27.05.2019.
  • Tenure of Prashant Ranjan (IRS IT: 2007), Director in the Ministry of Tourism was curtailed to appoint him as Private Secretary to the Minister of State for Ports, Shipping & Waterways Shantanu Thakur on co-terminus basis.
  • Mrinalini Shrivastava (IPS: 2002: SK), Director, NDMA (G-20 Secretariat post) was appointed as Director (Finance) National Disaster Management Authority under Ministry of Home Affairs (non-CSS post) for a tenure up to 01.11.2027. She counts her central deputation 02.11.2022.
  • Amrit Agrahari (IRS IT: 2011) was appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs up to 09.07.2026. He counts his central deputation w.e.f 10.07.2020.
  • Mahendra Prakash Gupta (ITS: 2001), Director in the Ministry of Defence, Delhi was appointed to the post of Director in Ministry of Tribal Affairs for a period up to 07.05.2025. He counts his central deputation tenure w.e.f 08.05.2020.
  • Pradeep Kumar Singh (Central Secretariat Service), Private Secretary to the Minister of State for Education, Dr Subhas Sarkar, was prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre to avail the benefit of promotion.
  • Sudipta Acharjee (ITS: 1997) was appointed as CVO, Damodar Valey Corporation (DVC), Kolkata for an initial period of 3 years.
  • Rahul Subhash Jagtap (ISS: 2000) was appointed as CVO, Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Ltd., (RCF), Mumbai for an initial period of 3 years.
  • Bhavani Singh Yadav (ITS: 1997) was appointed as CVO, Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Delhi under the Ministry of Labour & Employment for an initial period of three years.
  • Hari Narayan Jangid (ITS: 1995) was appointed as CVO, Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd. (MDSL), Mumbai for an initial period of 3 years.
  • Manish Kumar Agarwal (ITS: 1996) was appointed as CVO, Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Delhi for an initial period of 3 years.
  • Pramod Kumar Choudhary (IRSS: 1998) was appointed as CVO, Telecommunications Consultants India Ltd, (TCIL), Delhi for an initial period of 3 years.
  • Suresh Chandra Rajeev (ITS: 1997) was appointed as CVO, Directorate General of Civil Aviation and Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (DGCA & BCAS), Delhi for an initial period of 3 years.
  • Deepankar Aron (IRS C&IT: 1996) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals for a tenure of five years.
  • Harish Kumar Vashisth (IRS C&IT: 2001) was appointed as Joint DG, Directorate General of Civil Aviation under the Ministry of Civil Aviation for a tenure of five years.
  • Siddharth Mahajan (IAS: 2003: RJ) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce for an overall tenure of three years up to 07/11/2024.
  • Anand Madhukar (IRPS: 1997) was appointed as Addl DG, Archaeological Survey of India for a tenure of five years.
  • Swati Meena Naik (IAS: 2007: MP) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation for an overall tenure of five years up to 02/08/2028.
  • Ravi Shanakar (IAS: 2007: GJ) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Food & Public Distribution for an overall tenure of five years up to 31/07/2028.
  • Gulzar N (IAS: 1999: AP) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Food & Public Distribution for a tenure of five years.
  • Manoj Kumar Jain (IRAS: 2000) was appointed as ED (Engg/IT), FCI HQ under the Department of Food & Public Distribution for a tenure of five years.
  • Pushpendra Rajput (IAS :1999: HP) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Health & Family Welfare for a combined tenure of seven years up to 29/11/2025.
  • Saurabh Jain (IAS: 2002: KL) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Health & Family Welfare for a tenure of five years.
  • Mihir Kumar (IDAS: 1996) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs for a tenure of five years or until further orders.
  • Parthasarathi Gurrala, CSS, was appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs for a tenure up to his superannuation on 31/12/2028.
  • Abhijit Sinha (IAS: 2000: NL) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs for a tenure of five years.
  • Vipul Aggarwal (IPS: 2001: GJ) was appointed as Principal Commissioner, Delhi Development Authority (DDA) under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs for an overall tenure of five years up to 15/03/2025.
  • Jagannath Srinivasan (IPoS: 2002) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Justice for a tenure of five years. 
  • Alok Mishra (IInfoS: 1998) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Labour & Employment for a tenure of five years.
  • Bhaskar Choradia (IRAS: 2000) was appointed as Addl CPFC (Hq), Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) under the Ministry of Labour & Employment for a tenure of five years.
  • Sanjay Pandey (ICAS: 1994) has been appointed as FA & CAO, Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) under the Ministry of Labour & Employment for a tenure up to his superannuation on 31/08/2025.
  • Kunal Satyarthi (IFoS: 1997: HP) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Land Resources for an overall tenure of seven years up to 04/02/2026.
  • Mahabir Prasad (IRAS: 1998) was appointed as Joint Secretary & FA, Ministry of Power for a tenure of five years.
  • Ajeet Kumar Srivastava (IRAS: 1999) was appointed as Commissioner, National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS) under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs for a tenure of five years.
  • Sarwesh Kumar Arya, CSS, was appointed  as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Women & Child Development for a tenure of five years.
  • Purushottam Tripuri was empanelment for promotion to the grade of Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (CCIT) in the Indian Revenue Service (Central Board of Direct Taxes) against the panel year 2022.

  • Tsering Dorjai was empanelled for promotion to the grade of Inspector General in Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) for the panel year 2023.
