DIG ranks have been extended, another IRS officer serving on deputation too have
been given extension while two other IPS officers have been inducted in the CBI
to the rank of SP+DIG for a tenure of five years. Name and other details of
these officers are as follows.

New Delhi (16.05.2024): Tenure of two IPS officers of SP +
DIG ranks have been extended, another IRS officer serving on deputation too have
been given extension while two other IPS officers have been inducted in the CBI
to the rank of SP+DIG for a tenure of five years. Name and other details of
these officers are as follows.
- Tenure of Dr Sonal Chandra (IPS: 2008: TN), DIG, CBI, has been extended for one-year from 01.07.2024 to 30.06.2025 which is a total central deputation of six years.
- Tenure of Murali Rambha (IPS: 2011: TN), SP, CBI, has been extended for two years from 08.07.2024 to 07.07.2026 which is total central deputation of seven years.
- Vijayendra Kumar (IRS: 2007), presently working as SP in CBI, has been appointed as DIG in CBI for an overall combined tenure of (SP+DIG) upto 19.07.2024 which is a total central deputation of seven years.
- Jashandeep Randhawa (IPS: 2012: HY) has been inducted as SP in CBI for a combined tenure (SP+DIG) of five years.
- Subhash Chandra Jat (IPS: 2015: JH) has been inducted as SP in CBI for a combined tenure (SP+DIG) of five years.
