The Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB) on Thursday selected Shyam Awasthi for the post of Director (Finance), Hindustan Steelworks Construction Limited (HSCL). Presently, Awasthi works as Vice President (Accounts & Finance) Mirza International Limited.

Subject to requisite clearance and ACC approval Iyer will take over as Director, Finance, HSCL. It may be underlined that HSCL has two Board-level positions including that of MD and both positions are currently vacant.

Altogether six candidates were interviewed at a selection meeting held at PESB today.
