State-owned engineering and construction giant IRCON International Limited on Monday (23.11.20) stated that it has received a work order worth: Rupees 723 Crs, from the National Capital Region Transport Corporation Limited (NCRTC). The work encompasses design, supply, installations, testing and commissioning and associated works on viaduct and tunnel from Sarai-Kale-Khan to Duhai for the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor of NCRTC, Ircon International. The accepted contract amount for this part of the work is approximately Rupees 317 crore and the tenure for its execution is over 50 months, it said. Ircon International, under the administrative control of the Railways Ministry, is a leading turnkey construction company having a presence in several states of India, and countries like Mozambique, Sri Lanka Malaysia, Nepal, Ethiopia, Afghanistan, the United Kingdom, and Algeria.
