Scope Vice Chairman and MMTC chairman Ved Prakash inaugurated the capacity building program of the second batch of 26 participants from various public sector enterprises initiated by the Academy of Public Sector. Rajeev Bharadwaj, Director (HR), SECI & Member of SCOPE Executive Board, was the Guest of Honour.
in his address, Prakash said that the setting up of the Academy is one of the major landmark initiatives of SCOPE. He advised the participants to set time-bound targets/goals in life and work towards achieving them with sincerity and dedication He emphasized on positive thinking and positive attitude. He further advised the participants to develop good communication skills which are essential to growing further in the career.
Bharadwaj in his address explained the background of setting up the SCOPE Academy of Public Sector. He said many PSEs have their own training institutes but they are organization-centric. SCOPE Academy provides a broad picture of the public sector, governance structure, policy aspects which will help in the holistic development of the executives. He also emphasized on employee engagement which is one of the biggest challenge today in organizations.
