- Tenure of Kaustubh Sharma (IPS: 2001: PB) as Deputy Police Commissioner (D-1 level) with United Nations Mission in the Republic of South Sudan, has been extended for a further period of one year up to 30/09/2025.
- New Delhi (22.09.2024): The Centre on Saturday appointed three Additional Director General rank officer to the post of Special Director (Level-16 in the pay matrix) in respective organisations.
- Praveer Ranjan (IPS: 1993: AGMUT) was appointed as Special Director General in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). To formalize his elevation and appointment the ADG posts held by him was temporarily upgraded to Special DG for a tenure of two years.
