- Sandeep Singh (IPS: 2004: GJ) has been promoted to the IG rank as Additional commissioner of police, sector-2 of Ahmedabad city.
- Gautam Parmar (IPS: 2004: GJ) has been promoted to the IG rank and will be designated as joint commissioner of police of sector-2.
- D H Parmar (IPS: 2004: GJ) too has been promoted to the IG rank.
- Anupam Singh Gahlaut (IPS: 1997: GJ), joint commissioner of police (traffic and crime) in Rajkot city, has been promoted to ADGP rank and designated as ADGP CID (intelligence).
- Khursheed Ahmed (IPS: 1997: GJ) has been promoted to the ADGP level from the current IG rank and will be posted as the special commissioner of police (traffic and crime) in Rajkot city.
- Virendra Yadav (IPS: 2009: GJ), deputy commissioner of police of zone-3 in Surat city Vidhi Chaudhary (IPS: 2009: GJ), and SP, CID (intelligence) Vishal Vaghela (IPS: 2009: GJ), have been granted selection grade level by the state home department with effect from January 1, 2022.
