RBI Deputy Governor Mahesh Jain re-appointed for two years

676New Delhi (08.06.2021): Ahead of the completion of the three-year term RBI Deputy Governor Mahesh Jain was on Tuesday re-appointed for period of two years beyond 21.06.2021. Jain handles portfolios including consumer education and protection department, central security cel, co-ordination, supervision, financial Inclusion, human resource and rajbhasha. Prior to joining RBI Jain worked as the MD of IDBI Bank since March 2017. He also worked as MD of Chennai-based Indian Bank in November 2015.
