Lucknow (01.07.2024): Arun Vir Singh (Retd IAS: 2005: UP) has got the sixth extension as CEO of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (Yeida) and the Noida International Airport Limited (NIAL) upto December 31, 2024.He is the only retired IAS who is the CEO and has got extension for the sixth time by Uttar Pradesh and central governments. This is the sixth extension Singh has received since June 2019, after retiring from the Uttar Pradesh government as an IAS. Apart from being Yeida CEO, Singh will also continue to work as the CEO of the NIAL, formed by the Uttar Pradesh government for monitoring and controlling the development of the airport project that is slated to be operational by 2024-end.
