New Delhi (13.03.2024): With 2024 Lok Sabha Elections coming closer by the day, six additional secretary rank officers have been reshuffled. The names of these officers are as follows.
- Deepak Narain (IA&AS: 1993), presently in the cadre, was appointed as Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting.
- Nidhi Chhibber (IAS: 1994: CG), Chairperson, Central Board of Secondary Education was appointed as Advisor, NITI Aayog in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary by temporarily upgrading the post and extending the central deputation tenure of the officer for a period of one year.
- A P Das Joshi (IAS: 1994: AM) was appointed as Additional Secretary, Department of Personnel & Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions.
- Rahul Singh (IAS: 1996: BH), Additional Secretary, Department of Personnel & Training. Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, was appointed as Chairperson, Central Board of Secondary Education in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary by temporarily upgrading the post.
- Rajeev Kumar Mital (IAS: 1998: MH), Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Department of Atomic Energy, was appointed as Director General, National Mission for Clean Ganga, Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, Ministry of Jal Shakti in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary.
- Gyanesh Bharti (IAS: 1998: AGMUT), presently in the cadre, was appointed as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Women and Child Development by temporarily upgrading a vacant post of Joint Secretary in the Ministry.
