New Delhi (12.12.2020): The NaMo administration on Saturday granted Arun Kumar Sinha (IPS:1987:KL) DG rank by temporarily upgrading the post of Director, SPG to the level of DG, as a measure personal to the officer.

Further, four senior IPS officers were granted Special DG rank (in-situ). The list goes as follows:

1. Sudhir Kumar Saxena (IPS:1987:MP), Additional DG, CISF
2. Sanjay Chander (IPS:1987:WB), ADG, CRPF
3. Surendra Pawar (IPS:1987:OR), ADG, BSF
