As Indianmandarins has anticipated (report dated February 25) Suresh Kumar (IRS IT:1994) has been appointed Advisor to Executive Director, World Bank, Washington DC.
He will replace D P S Sandhu IRS (IT:1997). Reportedly Suresh Kumar will report to Subhash Garg (IAS:1983:RJ), the incumbent ED, WB.
Currently, Suresh Yadav is serving as OSD to Dr Pranab Mukherjee, President of India. Prior to this, he served as OSD to Dr Mukherjee while he was Union Finance Minister.
