New Delhi (24.03.2025): The Centre on Monday designated Ajay Seth (IAS: 1987: KN) has been designated as Finance Secretary. The post was vacant since Tuhin Kanta Pandey (IAS: 1987: OR) took over as SEBI Chief. Currently, Seth is Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs. He also holds the additional charge of Secretary, Department of Revenue vice T K Pandey.
