New Delhi (31.08.2022): As Indianmandarins had reported first (CLICK TO READ) the process for selection of member posts that started in June-July this year finally concludes with the appointment of Alok Shukla (IRS C&IT:1988) as Member, CBIC against the vacancy dated 01.08.2022 vice DP Nagendra Kumar (IRS C&IT:1985) who retired last month. Presently, Shukla is working as Principal DG of the Directorate General of GST Intelligence (DGGI).Further, V Rama Mathew (IRS C&IT:1988) was appointed as Member, CBIC. He will succeed Balesh Kumar (IRS C&IT:1987) retiring today.It may be underlined that the Department of Revenue had rolled out the process for selection of Member, CBIC in June-July this year.
