India appoints Ambassadors to Denmark, Czech Republic, Angola & Turkmenistan

New Delhi (11.01.2024): The Ministry of External affairs (MEA) has appointed  Ambassador to four countries -- Denmark, Czech Republic, Angola & Turkmenistan. Former spokesperson of MEA too gets a new assignment. The names of these officers are as follows.

  • Manish Prabhat (IFS: 1996), presently serving as Ambassador of India to the Republic of Uzbekistan, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to Denmark.
  • Raveesh Kumar (IFS: 1995), presently serving as Ambassador of India to Finland, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Czech Republic.
  • Dr Vidhu P Nair (IFS:2002), presently serving as Ambassador of India to Turkmenistan, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Angola.
  • Madhumita Hazarika Bhagat (IFS: 1999), presently serving as High Commissioner of India to Cyprus, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to Turkmenistan.

They are expected to take up the assignment shortly.
