1942New Delhi (11.11.2021): A woman IPS probationer would lead the Dikshant Parade at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA) on November 12, 2021, for the third consecutive year when Dr. Darpan Ahluwalia leads the parade. She has been allotted Punjab cadre and would become the sixth woman in the history of the academy to command the parade. Last year, Ranjitha Sharma of Rajasthan cadre and Kiran Shruthi D V of Tamil Nadu cadre in 2019 led the Dikshant Parades. National security advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval would be present during the passing out parade of 132 IPS probationers, including 27 women, three of whom are of Punjab cadre.
