Dehradun (28.03.2025): Anand Vardhan (IAS: 1992: UK) has been appointed as the next Chief Secretary of Uttarakhand replacing Radha Raturi (IAS: 1988: UK). Vardhan is expected to take charge as Chief Secretary of the state on April 1, 2025.Raturi’s extended tenure as Chief Secretary ends on March 31. Vardhan, who is currently serving as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), is the most senior officer in the state’s IAS cadre after Raturi.
