Thiruvananthapuram (25.06.2024): The BJP is unlikely to give a walk over to Priyanka Gandhi on Wayanad Lok Sabha seat where she is going to contest in a byelection after Rahul Gandhi resigned from the seat. The CPI may field Annie Raja on the seat yet again. If sources are to be believed, the BJP is looking for some woman candidate to contest on. If they manage to reduce victory margin of Priyanka they may consider it as their victory. However, generally victory margin is low in byelections.
