New Delhi (29.06.2024): The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has recommended the name of Ravi Agrawal (IRS IT: 1988), Member, Central Board of Direct Taxes as Chairman Central Board of Direct Taxes upto the date of his superannuation i.e. 30.09.2024. Interestingly, he will immediately be re-appointed on contract basis upto 30.06.2025. The incumbent Chairman of Central Board of Direct Taxes Nitin Gupta (IRS IT: 1986) too was re-appointed as Chairman on contract basis for nine months upto 30.06.2024.
