Guwahati (11.05.2021): The newly appointed as Assam’s 15th Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on May 10 picked Samir Kumar Sinha (IAS:1994:AM) as his Principal Secretary Earlier, Sinha worked with Sarma as Principal Secretary of the Department of Health and Family Welfare. Sinha replaces Paban Kumar Borthakur (IAS:1989:AM) whom Sarma administration transferred as Additional Chief Secretary to the Cultural Affairs Department. Further, Sinha was relieved from the additional charge of PS, Department of Health & Family Welfare and Transformation and Development Department.
