Hyderabad (17.04.2025): Smita Sabharwal (IAS: 2001: TG), Principal Secretary, Youth Development, Tourism and Culture Department, Telangana government, has received a notice from the state police. She shared an AI generated image on social media related to the destruction of 400 acres of forest in Gachibowli land. The image was shared on March 31 on X. It was depicting bulldozers at Mushroom rock and animals like peacock and deer watching them. Notice has been issued to Smita Sabharwal under section 179 of BNSS under which the investigating officer has the power to summon the person concerned to police station for statement.
