New Delhi (31.12.2021): To woo Nishad, Rajbhar, Valmiki, and Gorakhnath community voters, the Yogi Adityanath government has sanctioned over Rs 5 crore for building four big statues in Uttar Pradesh ahead of Assembly elections. A 51-feet high statue of Nishad Raj in Shrigangverpur in Prayagraj, a 51-feet high statue of Guru Gorakhnath on the Gorakhgiri hill in Mahoba, a 40-feet statue of Maharaja Suheldev on a horse in Bahraich, and a 12.5-feet statue of Maharishi Valmiki in the Valmiki Ashram in Chitrakoot will be erected. These steps are certainly for larger Hindutva messages.
