New Delhi (31.12.2021): The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday appointed V K Tripathi (IRSEE:1983) as the new Chairman and CEO of the Railway Board. Currently, he is working as General Manager, North Eastern Railway (Gorakhpur). Tripathi will continue to the coveted post till December 31.12.2022. He is scheduled to retire on June 30, 2022. Post his retirement he will continue as Chairman & CEO on a re-appointment basis.
