Lucknow (26.06.2024): The Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday reshuffled 12 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers working as District Magistrate. Out of these 12 officers, 11 were in charge districts where the BJP lost Lok Sabha elections. The name of these officers are as follows.
- Anuj Singh (IAS: 2012: UP), Sitapur District Magistrate, has been reassigned as District Magistrate Moradabad.
- Abhishek Anand (IAS: 2014: UP), Chitrakoot District Magistrate, has been moved to Sitapur.
- Durga Shakti Nagpal (IAS: 2010: UP), Banda District Magistrate, has been transferred to Lakhimpur Kheri.
- Nagendra Pratap, currently the Special Secretary of the Ayush Department, has been appointed as the District Magistrate of Banda.
- Shivsharanappa GN (IAS: 2015: UP), Kanpur Municipal Commissioner, has been appointed as the district magistrate of Chitrakoot.
- Raveesh Gupta (IAS: 2015: UP) has been appointed as District Magistrate, Basti.
- Ajay Kumar Dwivedi (IAS: 2015: UP), the Special Secretary for the Agriculture Production Commissioner, has been appointed as the district magistrate of Shravasti.
- Madhusudan Hooghly (IAS: 2015: UP), Additional State Project Director, has been named the district magistrate of Kaushambi.
- Manish Bansal (IAS: 2014: UP), Sambhal District Magistrate, has been transferred to Saharanpur in the same capacity.
- Rajendra Pensia (IAS: 2015: UP), the Special Secretary of Urban Development, has been appointed as the district magistrate of Sambhal.
- Ashish Kumar (IAS: 2017: UP), the Vice Chairman of the Saharanpur Development Authority, has been appointed as the district magistrate of Hathras.
- Medha Rupam (IAS: 2014: UP), the Additional Chief CEO of Greater Noida, has been appointed as the District Magistrate of Kasganj.
